SVENSKA: Fortfarande feber men inte så hög. Infektionen finns kvar men ökar i alla fall inte. Behandling med transfusioner fortsätter. Man räknar med att Joyce egen produktion av vita blodkroppar ska komma igång inom en vecka. Hade det jobbigt med andningen igår eftermiddag och fick då en spruta vätskedrivande och gick ner 5 kg vätska till denna morgon. Andas nu lättare igen. Utslagen nästan helt borta. Är trött på att vara sjuk. Ser fram emot att kunna få en kort permis inom 14 dagar om allt går som vi hoppas.
ENGLISH: Still running a fever but not so high. Infection is still there but not increasing at least. Treatment with transfusions is continuing. The doctors are counting on Joyce’ own production of white blood cells to pick up within a week. Had a hard time breathing in the afternoon yesterday and therefore got a shot of diuretic medicine and lost 11 lbs of liquids until this morning. She is now breathing easier again. Rash is almost all gone. She is tired of being ill but is looking forward to getting a short time away from the hospital within two weeks if everything goes as we hope.
