Svenska: Ledig dag tillsammans med alla barn och barnbarn. Välsignade små människor som för med sig så mycket glädje! Vi njuter av gemenskapen och måltiderna tillsammans. Idag ville de att jag ska baka min pizza – något av en familjetradition. Det blir nog sex plåtar och deg på 1½ liter vätska. 2 kilo ost lär gå åt och direktimporterad amerikansk pepperonikorv. Imorgon firar vi både jul och Thanksgiving tillsammans med mer traditionell mat – kalkon bland annat. Joyce mår fortsatt bra, kan äta med oss andra och sitter uppe hela dagen i sin ”recliner” och njuter av att ha barn och barnbarn omkring sig.

Engelska: A day off together with all of our children and grandchildren. Blessed small people that bring so much joy! We are enjoying the fellowship and the mealtimes together. Today they wanted me to bake my Pizza – something of a family tradition. It will probably be six full size cockie-sheets pizzas and a dough out of six cups of liquid. 4 lbs of Swedish Farmer’s Cheese will probably be needed and some direct-imported American Pepperoni. Tomorrow we will celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving all in one shot with more traditional food – turkey among other things. Joyce is still doing well, she eats with the rest of us and is up all day sitting in her recliner enjoying the company of her children and grandchildren.
