SVENSKA: Så nu har tredje benmärgsprovet tagits och preliminära resultat kanske kommer senare idag. Definitiva resultat kommer inte förrän måndag eftermiddag då ett av proven måste ligga i formalin i två dygn innan man kan avläsa resultatet. Så vi får försöka tänka på annat. Just nu sover Joyce. Vi får se hur mycket av provtagningen hon kommer att minnas. Ibland blir det minnesluckor pga. bedövningsmedlen som användes. Lika bra iså fall – inga trevliga minnen hur som helst. Hon sa dock att hon tyckte att det var bättre den här gången än förra.
Senaste nytt: Läkaren som utförde benmärgsprovet kom nyss in och berättade att resultatet visar att leukemin är kvar. De båda cellgiftsbehandlingarna som Joyce gått igenom har inte påverkat cancern. Efter helgen beslutar man hur man går vidare. En tredje behandling har bara en mycket liten chans att få bukt med leukemin. Joyce version av denna sjukdom har inte dokumenterats i Sverige men dock i Houston, Texas, USA. Den överhängande faran för Joyce nu är att hon är utan immunförsvar och när som helst kan drabbas av en svårbotad infektion. Den enda chans vi ser är ett direkt Gudsingripande – ett mirakel helt enkelt! Det ber vi om – du får gärna göra oss sällskap i den bönen!

Finally Joyce gets some rest after the bone marrow test!
ENGLISH: So the third bone marrow test is done and we might get the preliminary results later today. Definite results will not be delivered until Monday afternoon, our time. One of the samples has to soak in formaldehyde for 48 hours before it can be analyzed. So we will have to think about other things in the meanwhile. Right now Joyce is sleeping. We will see how much of the extraction she will remember. Sometimes you will have laps of memory due to the anesthetic used. For the better anyway – no pleasant memories in the first place, although she did say this time was better than last time.
Latest news: The doctor who performed the bone marrow test today was just in and informed us that the results show that the leukemia is still there. Both treatments that Joyce had, have not affected the cancer. Her version of this disease is not documented in Sweden but has been documented in Houston Texas. After the weekend they will decide how to proceed. A third treatment has but a small chance to rid the leukemia. The overshadowing danger for Joyce now is that she is without immune system and can at any given time come down with a hard-to-treat infection. The only chance we see at this point is a direct intervention of God Himself - a miracle in other words. This is what we pray for – and we would love to have you join us in that prayer!
